Visiting Ships

We visit the ships that enter our ports to share information about neighborhoods in Yokohama, Kawasaki, Shimizu, Yaizu about available Pastral serrvice for the seafarers and about welfare, medication. We listen to the stories of the seafarers and we provide assistance in some cases to help prevent accidents and resolve issues.

Liturgical Services

At the request of the seafares, Port Chaplains will precidea Holly Mass, funeral service and Blessings according to Roman Catholic Rite on board.

Communication service

We can assist you in contacting your family back home and helping you send e-mail by free Wifi service in our STELLA MARIS Yokohama Seafares Center.

Transportation to the town

If requested, we may be able to fetch you by car to take you to a church to attend a Holly Mass, visit our Stella Maris Center, and take you shopping in the town.

Hospital visit

We visit hospitalized seafarers to assist in communicating the situation to their family and distributing a Holly Eucharist, annointing the sick to a Catholic Seafarers.
